How to Measure
Use a steel tape measure and record all measurements in inches. Always enter the width first, followed by the height.

Measure the Width
- Measure the inside width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window frame.
- Record the smallest of the three measurements.
- If the measurement includes a 1/16 in or 1/32 in increment, round down to the nearest 1/8 in. For example, 24 9/16 in becomes 24 1/2 in.
- This is the width you should enter when ordering.
Measure the Height
- Measure the inside height at the left, center, and right of the window frame.
- Record the largest of the three measurements.
- If the measurement includes a 1/16 in or 1/32 in increment, round up to the nearest 1/8 in. For example, 24 9/16 in becomes 24 5/8 in. If it is already 24 1/2 in, no adjustment is needed.
- This is the height you should enter when ordering.
Measure the Depth
- Measure straight back from the front edge of the inside frame to the first handle, lock, raised trim, or other obstruction.
- Use the smallest usable depth and compare it with the minimum depth listed on the product page.
- For a no-drill shade, make sure the top inside surface is flat and deep enough for the bracket to grip securely.
Do not make your own deductions.
Enter the exact inside-frame width and height. Our factory will automatically make the necessary product-specific deductions. These instructions apply to both drill-mounted and no-drill roller shades.
Decimals are accepted: 1/8 = 0.125, 1/4 = 0.25, 3/8 = 0.375, 1/2 = 0.5, 5/8 = 0.625, 3/4 =0 .75, and 7/8 = 0.875.

Measure the Width
- Measure the total width of the window frame.
- Add 5–10 inches to the frame width for better coverage on both sides.
- This final measurement is the product width you should enter when ordering.
Measure the Height
- Measure the total height of the window frame.
- Add 5–10 inches to the frame height for better coverage above and below the window.
- This final measurement is the product height you should enter when ordering.
Enter the finished product size you want.
No factory deduction will be made for an outside mount. Make sure the finished shade overlaps the entire window frame to reduce light gaps.
Example: A 36 in × 60 in window can use a finished shade size of 41–46 in × 65–70 in.
